Why is the new Medal of Honor rated 18+ when Battlefield Bad Company 2 is 16+?

Just wondering why the age limit is so damn strict! Why is the new Medal of Honor rated 18+ when Battlefield Bad Company 2 is 16+?
Maybe the rules have gone up in the rating business, or maybe the graphics and realism make it so much like a real war. But I think it's mostly the inclusion of the Taliban. It may be disturbing for children with parents serving in the U.S. military to play as people killing people like his parents. Why is the new Medal of Honor rated 18+ when Battlefield Bad Company 2 is 16+?
In the U.S., they're both rated "M" for Mature, which means 17+. But since your name is Simon, I'm guessing you're in the U.K. So, I don't know. Why is the new Medal of Honor rated 18+ when Battlefield Bad Company 2 is 16+?
Well. When you think about it Medal of Honor is a much more serious game then Bad company 2. I guess thats the reason bc2 is just way less serious
