Well i LOVE cod and play competitive in it but im looking to buy another game thats more laid back and just for fun. Ive had BFBC2 but i dont like complicated it is and i mean i hate how your health dosent regenerate. It's a tough choice, no doubt. Both come from the same multiplayer developer, DICE, so the games are similar. Based on what you are looking for, however, I would strongly recommend Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (BFBC2). Both are great games, without a doubt, but BFBC2 is a game where victory is simply not possible without coordinated teamwork, but still offers the baddie blasting fun of many other shooters, such as Medal of Honor. Whether you are looking to play with friends or the massive online community, you will have no trouble finding an excellen team/objective based shooter in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Happy shooting!

Battlefield 2, Black ops or New Medal of Honour?
i think i will get one of these its more between black ops and medal of honour but i threw battlefield 2 in

Which one should I get? I don't play multiplayer a lot and I'm more into the single player campaign. Also, I really enjoyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1%26amp;2 if that helps. I would personally go with CoD: Black Ops since first of all it looks amazing and second Medal of Honor only got a 7.5 so it would be more safe to go with Black Ops. BFBC2 is long and gone and everyone is going to be playing Black Ops, also I still think Black ops is going to be better than BFBC2.

Good Things for Medal Of honour is that you actually feel like a soldier, you drive around in Afganistan in a quad bike shooting, raiding, sniping, laser designating and killing taliban fighters in 2002. And i know MW2 did that asweel but COD games you feel if there is a massive storyline like in the first MW it revolved around 5 days in which Russian Communist Ultranationalists staged a coup and took over russia and started a war with the West, while you (a joint SAS/USMC unit) go around executing main ultranationlists, detroying ultranationlist resources and killing the hidden plot twister (a rouge US general) in MOH your fighting in the War of Afganistan, as an ordinary soldier theirs no nuclear weapons, no history book changing events no coup by communists, facists, or any other people just an ordinary war with a Special Foreces soldier in the middle of it and it's bloody well good because of it you feel like its a non fiction simulation not a ficnational game, pretty much similar graphics and gameplay with COD MW2.

BBC2 was rubbish compared to the orginal the gameplay was terrible i mean i couldn't personally stand it, the story was rubbish (i mean a secret almost mystical and magical jappenses weapon from WW2 called the Aurora please it's almost insluting to FPS gamers, thats like bringing Sci Fi to a western dosen't work unless they got some serious imagination) don't buy it unless you ONLY care about online game and even then theres better games. If you really want to try it out rent it for a week for like 拢5 just don't wast your 拢40 or whatever the equivilant is in dollars.I have COD modern warfare for pc and wanted to know if Medal of Honor is good and if its just the same thing?
COD4 is a very good game. I've heard some good things about MoH (the reviews kinda suck for it), but i still don't think its as good as CoD4. I just ordered Battlefied 2, because I got it for a really good price, so if you don't want to waste a lot of money on a game that could potentially suck, I would go for Battlefield or wait until the price on black ops goes down. Personally I do think MoH is a good game, but for $50 it isn't worth it. It gets old really fast.

If you've play Modern Warfare 2(I guess you do), I will definitely recommend Black Ops. Don't think it's just another Call Of Duty episode. But it might be the most entertaining and best episode ever. The graphics of Treyarch is much better than Medal of Honor in comparison. If you've play Modern Warfare 2(I guess you do), I will definitely recommend Black Ops. Don't think it's just another Call Of Duty episode. But it might be the most entertaining and best episode ever. The graphics of Treyarch is much better than Medal of Honor in comparison. Metal of Honor is good. But I find they are all very similar to each other. If you don't already own a MoH game, I'd go with it.

Battlefield hands down.
I can easily say its the best FPS i have ever played. It is slower paced than call of duty games, but the action sequences can be breathe taking. You can be raining death from above in an apache helicopter one minute, then the next parachuting over enemy lines and blowing a building down using C4 killing all who are trapped inside.

I can easily say its the best FPS i have ever played. It is slower paced than call of duty games, but the action sequences can be breathe taking. You can be raining death from above in an apache helicopter one minute, then the next parachuting over enemy lines and blowing a building down using C4 killing all who are trapped inside.

Activision made Guitar Hero and everyone went ape sh*t over it, but then they killed the franchise by putting out like 10 GH games in one year.
Then EA comes out with Rock Band and brings the music game genre back to popularity, by putting out high quality games that don't lack in quantity. but the only difference is they didn't kill the franchise by making a bunch of spin offs.
Same story with Activisions MW2 and EA's BBC2
So, if history repeats itself, I'm confident Medal of Honor will be the reigning champion of online FPS games when it comes out...Does anyone think Medal of Honor is going be as good as, or better(maybe) as BattleField BC 2 %26amp; MW2?

It's a good idea to wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows. Then get all the upgrades downloaded. Our pcs collect little programs and spyware all the time and it slows it down. I reinstall about once a year myself.

NO don't buy even though Medal of Honor was AMAZING and realistic to the emotions of the soldiers it was too short and you should rent it. Online is stupid and not worth it. Medal of Honor is infantry based only, Bad company 2 is basically the same but with vehicles. The same engine is used for both games so it is your preference. I'm mainly looking for online play. I have played Medal of Honor online for a few years and love the gameplay. I decided to give Battlefield 2 a shot and I'm not all that impressed. Modern Warfare 2 campaign was okay, but the multiplayer was the biggest mistake in gaming history.
BFBC2 was good. I really like the multiplayer but dislike the gaming engine.
Black ops is a good balance game which does require some skill and I would say beats all of the above.
I will always Remember COD2 and 4 but they are getting a little old now.
MW2 all day. The other two don't have as ergonomic of controls and also not as realistic. When it comes to campaign I can't help you because I am an online player pretty much entirely. Any online shooter you're going to need some real skill, but nothing beats how genuinely realistic MW2 Hardcore team deathmatch can be. If you don't play hardcore, then those other shooters will probably become much more enjoyable than mw2, because in "core" mode (anything not hardcore in mw2) other online players pretty much have shields like in halo you have to shoot them so much.

I always loved the MoH games, but this one is just not good, the graphics suck, gameplay sucks, campaign sucks....its just not very fun. BF:BC2 is awesome though, I honestly like it better than the CoD series, I know im in the minority with that, but whatever. BF:BC2 is just good all around. The campaign, even though its great, isnt as long as I would like, but just about every FPS game is like that these days as its more about the online stuff, which this game definitely has that. The maps are fairly large and benefits both snipers and more up close classes like the assault class. You also have tanks, helicopters, boats with mounted guns, jeeps with mounted guns, as well as stationary rockets and machine guns, plus 4 wheelers and jet skis to fast travel around maps. And again the classes are well rounded with recon, medic, assault, and engineer classes, with each class having unique abilities, like the medics can heal, engineers can fix vehicles, etc. And for bragging rights you have the combat knife, which allows you to stab someone up close, taking there dog tags in the process, so you can keep a list of all the players you have shanked up close lol. Honestly I think BF:BC2 is really underrated and gives games like CoD:MW2 a run for its money, and you dont have to deal with hackers nuking you right off or jump/sniping, which just makes the game much more enjoyable imo.

What do I need to know to become a Game Designer?
I want to design First Person Shooters, I've already played them all. Call of Duty, Bioshock, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, etc. Basically, is there anything specific I have to know? Do I have to know programming, because as of know I do not know any. What classes should I take in college? I'm 17 right now, so I'm starting to pick out colleges. Well, as for the multiplayer aspect, that would definitely be Bad Company 2. It's multiplayer is absolutely fantastic: it's very smooth, ridiculously realistic, and is just a great game overall. As for Homefront, I haven't played the game myself, but the games overall opinions haven't been completely positive, especially in the multiplayer aspect of the game (the graphics aren't that great, it's kinda laggy, and it gets boring pretty quickly from what I hear). Medal of Honor isn't as popular as the other two, and while it's also made by EA, the developer who made Bad Company 2, it's simply not as good. Bottom Line: Get Bad Company 2; there's a Bad Company 3 coming out by the end of the year as well, so playing the second one would get you pumped up for that ;)Homefront vs battlefield 2 vs medal of honor ( the newest one )?
Personally, I enjoy Homefront over BFBC2. But, I also play hardcore in BFBC2, and everyone just sits back with the sniper on objective game modes and snipes the people who are actually trying. I haven't tried MoH, but I heard from a friend that it wasn't that great. NC2 is definitely more realistic than HF, but HF is far easier to mess around with. but are pretty damn good games, in my opinion. If I were you, I'd look for some Youtube vids of gameplay since the style of gameplay you enjoy and the style that I enjoy might be different.

Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?
Graphics don't even come close to the gameplay trailers they released a few months ago. The guns recoil like crazy. Your guy has a short amount of sprint. And the beta is constantly down so no one can play it. Very disappointing to me and I wish I never pre-ordered it. Hopefully modern warfare 3 is better cause I prefer the recent Medal of Honor over Battlefield 3 at this point.Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?

To answer your question, yes, I find BF 3 Beta pretty disappointing so far. My reason is simple, and is only one reason, because I find the game decently fun otherwise, although not up to par with even Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion, which also was plagued by the problem I am about to describe. Anyway, on to my reason. I was hoping they would do away with the whole level up system. I find shooter games that require you to play 10 hours a day to keep yourself on even terms with other players a huge factor that turns me away from these type of games. The starting weapons are complete junk without the attachments, and 24 hours into the beta I find people already have far superior weapons and attachments that already have me at an automatic disadvantage. This will only get worse as it goes on. Games like Gears of War 3 and Halo reach have level up systems as well, only they were smart and went with only cosmetic upgrades and achievements with thier system. Who wants to play a shooter game that you can't pick up and put down as you please without knowing already ahead of time, you're probably going to get smeared by people who never put the controller down? If i wanted to grind my way to superiority, I'd play an MMORPG.Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?

choose a grip or the other thing not sure what it called but it works when your on the floor or in anyway you place your weapon but you cant move wile using it
ok and the other what you need to do is choose the 1 burst by clicking up on the d pat (keep in mind do it only one its far rang)

Okay, one at a time.
1. The graphics in the gameplay trailers you saw a few moths ago were on the PC at max graphics on the newest and most expensive PC available. Consoles are 6 year old hardware, they can't keep up with a current PC graphically or otherwise. And, in addition, the console beta is compressed into a 1.3GB download. Because of this they had to turn the graphical settings down to save memory. Not to say that the final release version of the game will even approach the PC version's graphics, but they will, at least, be a bit better.
2. Is this your first Battlefield game? If so, you should know that the guns have always had a bit of recoil. But, you manage that like people do in real life. Fire in bursts at range to ensure the bullets hit the target. If you're right in their face, feel free to go all rock n' roll on them. I know I do.
3. Actually, I don't know how to respond to this one as I don't personally have any problem with the sprint and I haven't bumped in to anyone else who does. One point to you, sir.
EDIT: I have recently discovered that you are actually supposed to be able to sprint infinitely. The whole "not being able to sprint" thing is a glitch that will be fixed by launch.
4. The servers were only down for about 4-5 hours on day one. That's only a couple of hours longer than the Reach beta was down on its first day. Keep in mind it's a beta, meant to help iron out bugs, stress the servers, and sort out any gameplay issues. They do occasionally have to stress the servers to see how well they cope. And, as a result the servers sometimes get shut down.
I implore you, at least give the beta another chance with these things in mind before you go condemning BF3 to failure. There aren't even vehicles in the console betas yet so how can you say it isn't worth it when you haven't even experienced what Battlefield is all about?

It really depends on your preferences.
BBC2 is extremely realistic and really great with friends, its also a lot 'easier' than MoH in some respects.
MoH is basically an extremely tactical shooter, a lot of camping in it and really don't expect to do well at all on your first try unless your an extremely solid player. Its kind of a cross between BBC2 and CoD.
More or less, I would suggest that if your tired of CoD in general, get BBC2, but if you really like games similar to CoD, then get MoH.

I bought MoH today and i regret it so far.
The campaign is glitchy, the gameplay is very similar to MW2 and multi-player online seems to be a bit of a joke. Randomly dying for no apparent reason, spawn killing and not to mention the fact that the default sniper rifle takes a bunch of shots to kill one guy.

bbc2 is actually very good and cheap now good campaign worth doing and a good script I actually laughed in a few places like when they take the mic out of mw2
