Why does my computer not support certain pc games such as triple play, battlefield 1942, and medal of honor?

when it is just about loaded and ready to play, and error message pops up and cancels out. Check available disk space and run a defrag (windows is notorious for installing itself in fragments, even XP). After installing windows did you load the newest graphics drivers and directx?



Don't use the ones that came with your card go to your card manufacturer's website and get the latest.
It's a good idea to wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows. Then get all the upgrades downloaded. Our pcs collect little programs and spyware all the time and it slows it down. I reinstall about once a year myself.



Some old dos pc games need an emulator. Try dosbox.
